Linux/Open Source Engineer

As a Linux/Open Source engineer you will be deployed in Open Source projects in the broadest sense of the word. In order to do that, you have an affinity with Open Source at Infrastructure level. You are a team player who can also work independently and challenges in infrastructure make you tick.

When you are a Linux/Open Source engineer in our squad, it all starts with installing and managing (Red Hat Enterprise) Linux. On top of that, you support our clients in their IT infrastructure projects. You also follow up on evolutions in the market in the field of automation, virtualization, cloud, etc. And, enthusiastic as you are, you are keen to prepare/do tech talks. Do you have a good sense of humor? That’s a bonus!

Dutch is your mother tongue and you are also fluent in English. You are an initiator with an eye for detail. Clear communication is in your DNA. You enjoy working in a team as well as individually. Being proactive is a strong plus, both in thinking and acting. Your passion for the job is decisive: we learn every day and tomorrow we will be better than yesterday.

At Piros, you make good money, depending on your work experience. We work appr. 38 to 40 hours per week. In addition, you get tons of personal training opportunities.
